Est. 2018 · On the corner of Hartley Lane, London

Your corner of calm.

Single-origin espresso, slow pour-overs and pastry still warm from the oven. A small shop with a long welcome — six minutes from Angel station.

01 — Our story

Small corner. Big welcome.

The Corner Cup opened in the spring of 2018 in what used to be a key-cutter's on the corner of Hartley Lane and Maple Street. Two espresso machines, eleven seats, and a stubborn belief that a neighbourhood deserves coffee made carefully and priced fairly.

We roast in small batches with our friends at a railway-arch roastery two miles away, rotate single origins with the seasons, and bake every morning from 5:30. If you smell cardamom on the street before seven, that's us.

Mostly, though, we learn names. Yours, your dog's, your usual. That's the whole business plan.
